the garden

the red Lion has been a public house for over 400 years and decided to open its doors once again after a three year absence, following in the footsteps of its sister pub, The Sun Inn, and their success after an extensive renovation.

The Red Lion's Transformation started with their outside area to open up an outside bar and kitchen in the spacious garden to offer customers a more covid friendly way of dining.

Why Red?

The colour red was chosen, obviously because of the association with the name of the pub, The Red Lion...

but also because it symbolises health, love and life
and is synonymous with the Great British culture, with red double decker buses, phone boxes, post boxes etc.
