Set in the heart of the picturesque village of Great Bowden, The Red Lion serves cold pints, vibrant cocktails and carefully selected, locally sourced food, all from our very own red container. Following the successful launch of the red lion garden in 2020, we have created our much anticipated, beautiful quadrant. A covered outdoor dining area, decorated with cosy blankets and hot water bottles to transform it into an apres ski bar for the winter months.

Miles

Manager, Miles, started his hospitality career in Sydney, Australia before returning to the UK and managing several venues in Nottingham and hitchin.

Andrew

Head chef, Andrew, started his career in Leicester many moons ago (in his own words) and is now back after some stops in leeds, nottingham and australia. Most recently he was head chef at Stones Events.

Jonti

Sous Chef, Jonti, trained at Stones Events, before working locally in several pubs and restaurants, including our sister pub, the sun inn and also running his own fish & Chip van.
